By reducing consumption we are not only spending less but also avoiding consuming resources used to produce electricity and the polluting emissions generated. That’s where we come in!

Household appliances are responsible for 62% of the electricity consumption in Spanish housing, 3,489 kWh. Even when they are off, they can be “off-but on”: standby mode can consume up to 7%. The washing machine is, a domestic appliance where the real energy consumption depends on how you use it. And that is where we’ve concentrated our attention.
